Driver 'six times over limit'
A 45-year-old man was allegedly six times the legal limit when he was breath tested by police last night.
Police were called to the Anketell Road exit off Kwinana Freeway around 9pm last night after the man’s BMW was allegedly spotted driving erratically, stopping in the middle of the intersection and nearly colliding with a truck.
Officers spotted the car driving slowly along Anketell Road a short while later and breathalysed the driver.
Police said the man told them he was driving from Coogee to Busselton.
He was charged with driving under the influence, and is due to appear in Rockingham Magistrate’s Court on July 11.
