Chris cheated on Gwyn: report
As rumours continue to swirl as to what caused the demise of *Gwyneth Paltrow *and *Chris Martin *'s marriage, new reports claim the Coldplay singer, right, had an affair with an assistant on Saturday Night Live.
The New York Post reported that staff at US network NBC were "abuzz" after Martin appeared as a guest on the show in 2011 where he is said to have struck up a dalliance with a young crew member.
"He had an affair with a woman who was backstage and was part of an entourage," an NBC source said.
"Everyone was talking about it because he was openly flirting with her at one of the show after-parties."
A spokesperson for Martin did not address the rumours and Paltrow's representative also declined to comment, saying: "I don't rep Chris so I cannot address those accusations."
The pair announced their "conscious uncoupling" after 10 years together last month and, though they have attempted to put forward a unified front, the rumour mill has gone into overdrive about their "open" relationship and multiple alleged affairs on both sides.
