Pet of the week

Lilah is looking for a home

This week Lilah is looking for a home of her very own.

Lilah is a medium sized, mixed breed with possibly some kelpie in her.

She is about six-months-old and is a very energetic young dog.

Lilah would make a fantastic running companion and would do well at obedience and agility type dog sports.

She is a smart girl and would be easy to train. She gets along with other dogs and would make a fantastic, fun loving family pet.

Also available is Rex, an older boy of around 7 years, he appears to have some fox terrier in him and also extra-large Ruby is hoping to find her forever home soon.

We have been informed that some pastoral stations have begun their wild dog baiting programs. We would like to warn people that if you are going camping over the long weekend and Easter breaks to please be aware and keep your dog on a lead at all times.

Geraldton Dog Rescue is a not for profit organization run solely by volunteers. All GDR dogs cost $350 and have been bathed and flea treated, vet checked, vaccinated, wormed, micro-chipped and de-sexed.

If you would like to view a dog or become a volunteer please call 0400219719. Geraldton Dog Rescue can also be contacted via our website www.geraldtondogrescue.com.au or you can find us on facebook.
