Man dies, three others seriously hurt in separate balcony falls

A man has died and three other people have been injured in separate balcony falls over the weekend.

A 20-year-old man fell eight-storeys to his death on Dank St at Waterloo in the early hours of yesterday morning.

A short time later police were called to another balcony fall at Rozelle, where a 36-year-old woman had suffered a fractured hip.

Officers said she was trying to climb onto another balcony of the property on Warayama Place.

Meanwhile, a 28-year-old woman plunged from a second-floor balcony at the Entrance on the Central Coast last night.

She was flown to John Hunter Hospital where she remains in a stable condition.

And a man in his 20s is fighting for life after falling from a roof at Chippendale on Sunday.

It's understood the man fell about 10-15 metres.

He was rushed to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

A NSW police spokeswoman said his injuries appear to have occurred from "misadventure".
