Donate to the Ipswich fire appeal
Ipswich Mayor Paul Pisasale has launched a special appeal to assist the victims of yesterday's house fire near the city centre.
He said it was another example of why Ipswich could claim to be big enough to make a difference, yet small enough to care.
The building in Park Street was divided into three flats.
The Mayor's Community Fund immediately approved a donation of $2000 to each of the three groups of tenants.
The victims lost all their possessions in the fire.
Anyone wishing to assist further can make a cash donation to the Ipswich Mayor's Community Fund via EFT or at any bank by using "Park Street fire" as the reference.
