Man unknowingly stirs spiders nest

It's enough to make your skin crawl.

Video has emerged of a curious cameraman prodding what he thinks is a clump of fur - but dozens of creepy arachnids demonstrate otherwise.

It's not clear where the video was taken after being posted on Vine by Mexican Paglo Barroeta, but it sure does reinforce the message to be careful what you touch.

It captures the spine-tingling moment dozens of eight-legged creepy crawlies come charging out of their nest after being disturbed by the cameraman.

Understandably, he cries out in shock and runs away screaming after the swarm emerges.

It's understood the creatures are thought to be opiliones - or as we call them in Australia, daddy longlegs.

Just like their spider cousins, they have eight legs and are known to congregate en masse within the 10,000 species that exist worldwide.
