Knight back after big day
Perth Wildcats centre Matt Knight will return to the line-up for Friday night’s blockbuster against arch rivals New Zealand at Perth Arena.
Knight missed last week’s game against Cairns as he and partner Sherelle Johnson awaited the arrival of their first child.
The Wildcats beat Cairns in overtime, while Knight announced the arrival of daughter, Mia Rose, via his Twitter account this morning.
“Proud to announce Sherelle and I proud parents of a baby girl #prouddad,” Knight tweeted. “Thanks for all the love and support!!! Mum and baby are doing great #thanksforthelove.”
Knight has managed just four appearances this season after missing the first six with an ankle injury.
