A 2.5m shark has been spotted north of Quinns Rocks this afternoon.
The Westpac Lifesaver Helicopter sighted the unidentified species of shark about 20m offshore.
The shark was about 3 nautical miles or 5.5km north of Quinns Rocks at 2.10pm.
