Police appeal for driver to come forward

Bunbury Police want to speak to the driver of a truck involved in a minor crash on Robertson Drive this morning.

A 55-year-old man was driving a Hilux ute north on Robertson Drive towards the traffic lights at Picton Road when he suffered a stroke and crashed into the back of a white truck.

The driver of the truck stopped to assess the damage before returning to his vehicle and leaving the scene.

He is described as of thin build, approximately 170cm tall with dark hair. He has two front teeth missing and is aged in the mid-30s to 40s.

Police are requesting the man makes contact with Sgt Craig Clarke at the Bunbury Police Station on 9722 2120.

Any other witnesses to the crash are encouraged to contact police.

The 55-year-old driver of the Hilux ute is in a stable condition at Bunbury Regional Hospital.
