Beyonce delights fans outside Brunswick home

A run down house in the trendy suburb of Brunswick has become Melbourne's new hot spot after hosting international superstar Beyonce.

Residents could not believe their eyes when they spotted the pop diva posing on the porch of the derelict weatherboard house in Beith Street, Brunswick, for a photo shoot yesterday afternoon.

Excited fans flocked to the house to catch a rare glimpse of Queen Bey, after rumours spread she was filming inside.

A photograph of the scantily-clad star posing against a post, taken by a passerby, then emerged on social media, sparking a media frenzy.

However, homeowners Jeanette and Roy had no idea who the bootylicious babe was.

In fact, when the crew knocked on the door of the couple's home yesterday afternoon, Jeanette thought they were talking about a fiance.

"I didn't know who it was, I thought it was someone's fiance," she said.

No, that's Beyonce, arguably the world's biggest pop star.

Jeanette is 80-years-old and still has no idea what all the fuss is about.

"What is she French or something?" she asked 7News reporter Emily Angwin. "She's only young isn't she? 32 or something?"

Despite the chilly weather, the star was not afraid to show off that envious body of hers, posing in a strapless one piece, a faux fur coat and high heels during the photo-shoot.

But Jeanette was none too impressed with the star's get up.

"I'm not that keen on it," she said.

Clearly not a Beyonce fan, but there are plenty around in Melbourne.

Resident Ben Reeson said: "People started turning up, there were cars all down the street and people saying 'Oh My gosh'. They were going crazy."

Beyonce has the model look down to a tee, but she has some tough competition among a few fans who have since lined up outside Jeanette's home to imitate the star's saucy pose.

The copycat photos have taken over social media.

Jeanette was given $300 for the lending her porch so the crew could shoot the music video.

As quickly as a flash, Beyonce was gone and reappeared at the Retreat Hotel where she delighted even more fans.

She is back on stage ay the Rod Laver Arena tonight and tomorrow night.
