Woman snaps alleged purse thief on camera phone
Police are hunting a man whose face was caught on a phone camera before he allegedly stole a woman’s purse and assaulted her at an Adelaide hotel.
The man allegedly assaulted a woman and ran away with her purse from a Grenfell St hotel in the early hours of September 19.
The victim suffered minor injuries in the incident.
Police have released a photo of the suspect, taken by one of the victim’s friends on a camera phone earlier in the evening when the group was speaking to the man.
He is described as Caucasian, aged about 25, of slim build, wearing a check jacket, top hat, maroon shirt and white trousers.
