Battle looms on home front

It was a brave lass who waltzed around Fremantle in brown and gold yesterday, but for Allison McCrorie it was a walk in the park given she is about to spend a week living with "the enemy".

Her husband Jason is a long-time Dockers fan and Allison was joking that "splitsville" could loom as the Rockingham couple take separate corners when the Dockers and Hawks clash on Saturday.

"We will be on different sides of the room and probably divorce after the game," she said.

A long-time Hawks fan, she never expected her team would one day come head-to-head with Fremantle and her husband.

"It's fabulous," she said. "I was hoping the Dockers would win and that me and my husband could have this competition."

Waving her Hawks scarf in Fremantle, Allison did not go unnoticed.

"I copped a lot of flak but I loved it," she said.
