Shake-up set to continue at Ten

Shares in Ten Network have gone into a trading halt, pending an announcement by the broadcaster and outdoor advertiser about changes to its management and board.

Ten said the announcement would be made "later today".

Ten announced on February 23 that it had terminated the contract of its managing director, Grant Blackley, to be replaced on an interim basis by board member Lachlan Murdoch.

Mr Murdoch was one of a number of additions to the Ten board following a series of share purchases involving James Packer's Consolidated Media, Mr Murdoch's Illyria, and Gina Rheinhardt's HPPL Group.

Ten shares were off 1.5 cents, or 1.13 per cent, to $1.31 before the trading halt was called.
