Disaster scammers targeting generous

South Aussies are being warned of scammers pretending to be charities collecting for Japanese earthquake victims.

Often, the scammers are using the names of well known organisations like the Red Cross, or the Salvation Army in emails asking for donations to be sent to dodgy email addresses.




Even if all your personal information isn't provided to scammers, they can often find you on social networking sites like Facebook and take your details from there.
