Horrifying CCTV of alleged abduction played to court

Horrifying security pictures of a violent kidnapping at a service station in Melbourne’s west have been played in court.

Christopher Josevski is accused of attacking his pregnant ex-partner and dragging her by the hair into a vehicle in a terrifying abduction at Derrimut last month.

The 24-year-old had his bail revoked on Friday, after the court watched the shocking footage filmed by an onlooker.

In the footage, the woman can be seen desperately screaming for help as she tries to make her way inside the service station.

But as the victim makes a run for it, she is quickly caught, violently dragged to the ground and, despite trying to desperately hold onto a food stand, she’s punched twice in the face.

The pregnant victim was found the next day unconscious in a vehicle near Ballarat.

Josevski had been granted bail last week after he was charged over the terrifying abduction.

But he has been taken back into custody after the victim made a further complaint to police, alleging she was also assaulted last year.

Josevski’s mother and a family friend have supported the 24-year-old accused in court, and claim it is the victim who has an aggressive streak due to a daily ice habit.

The 24-year-old’s supporters say the relationship was volatile, but claimed the victim is the violent partner.

The magistrate revoked Josevski’s bail after prosecutors argued the security footage was compelling and the woman feared she was going to die.

Josevski will remain in custody until his next court appearance in May.
