One dead, at least seven injured after minibus rollover south of Sydney

A woman has died and at least seven people have been injured after a minibus crashed and rolled on its side, south of Sydney.

Fire and Rescue New South Wales confirmed they were attending the scene at Yallah, 20 kilometres away from Wollongong.

Police have been told a minibus with 11 occupants and a truck, both travelling north, crashed causing the bus to fall on its side.

The bus was travelling to a community centre at Albion Park for a barbecue when the accident occurred.

Eight community club members, two staff and a driver were onboard.

Both drivers have been taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.

Northbound lanes of the Princes Highway have been closed, with motorists advised to allow extra travel time for their journey.

All motorists heading north from Albion Park have been redirected through Lake Entrance Road and Windang Road through Shellharbour.

Officers from Crash Investigation Unit will investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
