Ex glamour model arrested over suspected ISIS links

A former UK glamour model has been arrested over suspected links to ISIS.

Kimberley Miners, 27, from Bradford in England was suspected to have been groomed by a recruiter for the Islamic State group after photos of her clad in a burka surfaced online.

She was arrested on Friday on suspicion of the possession of terrorist material.

There are claims she has used multiple Facebook accounts under different names to engage with extremists, according to the British newspaper, The Sunday Times.

Before her arrest, the 27-year-old allegedly told the Sunday Times the accounts were “fake profiles made against me”.

"I myself am not active on any social media and do not have contact with anyone in association with terrorism," she told the paper.

Counter terrorism officers also searched the former model's home in Bradford, according to the UK Telegraph.

Miners has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
