Driver in demolition derby style car rampage
A driver who slammed into several cars and took out a power pole during a demolition derby style rampage before abandoning his car and running away is being hunted by police.
Officers were called to Old Guilford in Sydney's west around 11.30pm on Wednesday night after reports of a collision.
When they arrived they discovered a 4WD crashed into a power pole and extensive damage to several parked cars - but no driver.
Homes in the area were left without power due to the collapsed power pole.
Police are still hunting for the driver, who is believed to have left the area on foot.
