'Hipster' struggles futilely in Tetris furniture attempt

It was a case of 'square peg, round hole' when this man was photographed struggling to fit a sofa into his small car in Melbourne’s CBD.

The image, shared to Reddit on Saturday, captures the moment a young man tries unsuccessfully to wedge a sofa through the back door of his hatchback, snapped at Melbourne’s Exhibition Street.

In the hilarious photo captioned ‘Good luck with that’, it is obvious the piece of furniture is far too big to fit in the small car, even though the man manages to squeeze the corner through on its side.

Social media users were in stitches over the image, some calling the man out as a ‘hipster’ and blaming his hairstyle for impairing his brain function.

“His man-bun must be too tight,” wrote one Reddit user.

“Square peg round hole. Hipster level,” posted another.

The young man’s actions baffled another: “Blind Freddy could see from miles away that ain't gonna fit, why would he even try?”

“Why try the door at all but not the boot? How did he even get it to the car? I have so many questions,” wrote one person.

“Anyone else notice how bad the parking job was first?” commented another. One would think the parking job would be the least of this man’s problems.
