A Gates police officer, who was waiting outside of the window where Hinchman landed, took him into custody.

Both Hinchman and the officer suffered minor cuts from the glass.

It is believed Hinchman is in custody after trying to escape from police. He was arraigned in court, where the judge set his bail at $13,000.
