Cars crushed as huge billboard collapses across busy highway
Four people have escaped a freak accident near Mexico City when strong winds brought a huge 25-metre-high billboard crashing down on to a busy highway.
At least two cars were crushed in the accident, which was caught on camera by a witness.
A cameraman filming from inside an office starts recording after the massive sign starts leaning in the wind.
Dozens of cars moving along the busy Toluca-Tenango highway were oblivious to the danger lurking only seconds away.
Witnesses in the office can be heard screaming as the billboard come crashing down, flattening two cars in its path.
Local news reports state four people were injured, with one of them in a serious condition.
Miraculously, no one was killed in the incident.
The powerful winds also caused a second billboard to fall into a house, The Sun reported.
The wellbeing of the home’s occupants is unknown.
