Toddler found alone on church grounds at Gold Coast
A female toddler has been found alone on church grounds on the Gold Coast.
The girl named Charlie was transported in a stable but serious condition to Gold Coast University Hospital.
Initial reports suggest that she was found severely dehydrated wearing just a nappy, with a laceration above the eye.
She was located at 3.20pm by a member of the public.
The one-year-old was found unaccompanied in Applecross Way in Elanora.
Police have since located the mother of the girl and welfare checks are being performed by authorities.
It is understood the mother was located in the vicinity of where the girl was found.
