Brazen art thief steals painting and no one notices
A brazen thief has managed to steal a famous art work from the wall of a crowded bar and gallery in Sydney without a single person noticing.
Security footage shows the man casually walking through the crowded room and up to the painting hanging on a wall.
He then nonchalantly removes it before disappearing behind the wall.
The lounge has asked its Facebook fans to circulate pictures of a man they believe to be a person of interest in the theft.
According to Café Lounge at Surry Hills, the work is priceless.
It is offering a $100 reward for information that might lead to the man’s capture and the return of the picture.
A food and drink voucher is also on offer for anyone who can help to return the picture.
