Sydney wedding guest charged after 'driving at the bride'

A man allegedly drove a car at a bride and her guests after a disagreement at a Sydney wedding.

Tenille Bradley was standing in the car park of the Harrington Grove Country Club in Camden, western Sydney, when the shocking incident allegedly took place on Saturday night.

Tenille and her partner Adam Bradley had just got married in a beautiful ceremony before the trouble unfolded.

A 55-year-old man from Queensland, who was the plus one at the event, allegedly got into a fight with fellow guests.

After a struggle with one of the other guests for his car keys NSW Police said he started up his grey Mazda 3 and drove toward two people.

He just missed them before reversing at high speed towards another group of guests that included the bride.

Wedding photographer Warren Donovan told media it was a miracle nobody got hurt.

"I've been to a few weddings but nothing like that,"

The couple have not mentioned the alleged incident on their social media accounts. Photo: Facebook

"There was an argument and we sort of didn't know what was going on.

"We kept shooting, we needed to get what we wanted and then the bloke came back to the car and nearly ran a few people over, including us.

"I still don't know how nobody got hit...it was crazy," Mr Donovan said.

By the time police had caught up with the man he had ditched the car and was walking up Camden Valley Way up towards Lepington Train Station.

The man had already been disqualified from driving in NSW and in Queensland.

Police then drove the man to Narellan Police Station where he was charged with driving while disqualified, driving dangerously and driving menacingly and possessing a small amount of cannabis.

Police bailed the man to appear at Picton Local Court on September 29.

The couple's friends haven't mentioned the incident on social media instead focusing on the beauty of the ceremony and day.

Tracey Monteith said: "Such a beautiful day."

Anne Pearson added on Facebook: "Would like to thank Tenille and Adam for allowing us all to share their special day. Have a wonderful happy life together xxx."
