Country music star saves man from floodwaters
When Roho Hartman’s car got stuck in floodwaters he thought his day was ruined, but that was until he was rescued by none other than country singer Blake Shelton.
Mr Hartman was driving in Ardmore, Oklahoma, in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Bill when the road he was traveling on turned into a river.
Soon he found himself trying to push his truck through the hilly countryside.
But then Mr Shelton swooped in to save the day.
The music superstar pulled Mr Hartman’s car to safety and even gave him a lift home.
“It's great, he's pretty good. He's a good fella I think, I like him,” Mr Hartman told local news station KFOR.
"We hit it off real good. He looked like a normal person but, but... tall.”
Mr Hartman called his wife on the way home and told her: “Blake Shelton pulled me out and he's gonna go ahead and bring me on home. You better slick up and we'll be there in just a minute.”
He said he now wanted to thank Mr Belton for helping him.
“I didn't get a chance to get Blake's number but I did give him my card though... maybe you can get him on that Facebook, however that is, I don't know nothing about it.”
