'Dingo bait' baby onesie causes stir

An online store has been criticised for selling x-rated and provocative baby clothing.

Online retailer Cafe Press has baby items for sale on its website with slogans like: ‘yes to an*l’ and ‘everyone loves a sl**’.

One particularly offensive product is a baby onesie with the slogan 'dingo bait', which refers to the case of Azaria Chamberlin, the two-month-old baby girl who was killed by a dingo in the desert in 1980.

Collective Shout activist Melinda Liszewsk told Daily Mail that using tragedies like the Chamberlin case and making money off it is sickening.

“I don’t even know how they place these items under freedom of speech,” she said.

Another item that upset Ms Liszewsk shows a baby with the slogan, “they shook me once and look what happened,” which could be making light a shaken baby syndrome.

“It is tasteless, sick and degrading to have these items of clothing available,” he said.

This is not the first time Café Press has come under fire for selling provocative infant clothing. Last year the company was slammed for a jumpsuit with 'F*** me like a pornstar' emblazoned on the front.

'The company has no ethics or standards. It's really sinister that they’re willing to sell this. I don’t know what goes through people’s heads,” Ms Liszewski said.

CafePress is an online service that allows users to upload their own designs and slogans.
