More bones found at Adelaide golf club

Nine more bones have been found at an Adelaide golf club after the discovery of two bones believed to be human.

Officers from the Sturt branch, special tasks and rescue group, and major crime investigation branch found the further nine bones on Saturday during a ground search at the Adelaide Shores Golf Park.

It comes after a first bone was discovered last weekend, and a second was discovered on Friday.

Both are believed to be human and Forensic Science SA is conducting tests to determine the age, height and possible gender.

The tests will also look at how long they may have been buried and examine them for DNA.

Police say the area is under development and it's possible the bones have been disturbed due to earth movement.

Anyone with further information or who may have seen the bones in the area previously is asked to contact police.
