CCTV footage shows moment intruder shoots man in home

Footage of a brazen shooting at an Adelaide home has revealed the moment an intruder rushed through the front door and fired shots at another man inside.

Police have called on the public to help identify the man responsible for the targeted shooting.

The shooting took place about 8:30am on September 2 at a York Terrace home in the northern suburb of Salisbury.

CCTV of the incident revealed a man wearing a full-faced balaclava armed with a handgun when he entered the home.

No-one was injured in the incident and the offender fled on foot.

Police believe the shooting had links to Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs (OMCG).

The CCTV showed the offender following the occupants of the house, opening the front door and shooting at close range.

Detective Inspector Kym Hand said police believe the clear intent was to kill or seriously injure.

"We have established that this shooting has links to OMCGs, and that a level of planning had to be undertaken which may have included prior surveillance," he said.

"Therefore, we're asking if anyone living in the area saw anything suspicious in the days leading up to last Tuesday to contact police immediately."

The shooter is described as Middle Eastern appearance, olive complexion with short hair and a thin beard.
