Shots fired in Adelaide Hills bank robbery

A man has fired shots during a bank robbery in the Adelaide Hills.

The man, who was carrying a firearm, entered the Mount Pleasant branch of Bank SA and demanded money on Thursday morning.

He fired several shots, but no-one was injured, police say.

The robber fled with cash and is believed to have left in a silver four-wheel-drive.

He is described as being about 188cm tall, tanned complexion, solid build, and was wearing a black jacket and pants.
