Police make arrest over Whyalla murder
Police have arrested a 51-year-old man over the alleged murder of a woman whose body was found in a Whyalla backyard last week.
Dianne Rogan’s body was found in the backyard of her Sharp St home at about 11am on Friday.
Police declared her death a major crime on Saturday.
Major Crime detectives arrested the 51-year-old man this afternoon.
They said he will be charged with murder and is expected to appear in the Port Augusta Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Police said it will be alleged he was known to the Mrs Rogan, and it was not a random attack.
