Home invaders assault 69yo man
A 69-year-old man has been hit in the face with a rifle during a home invasion in Adelaide’s northern suburbs.
Two men forced their way into the MacDonald Park home and confronted the man and his 61-year-old wife at about 11pm yesterday.
The suspects demanded cash with one hitting the man in the face with the barrel of a rifle and forced the victims to open the safe.
They fled with two rifles, jewellery -including the woman's wedding ring - and the victim’s Ford station wagon – registration S608AFX.
The suspects are described as between 183cm and 195cm tall, of large build, wearing dark tops, dark pants, blue gloves and black balaclavas.
