Kids rob taxi driver at Exeter

A taxi driver has been robbed by three youths at Exeter, in Adelaide's north-western suburbs overnight.

The driver was called to pick up customers at Hutton Place, in Exeter.

But when he arrived, three teenage boys aged between 10 to 15 years old opened the taxi door, each armed with large knives.

They threatened him, demanding money, and damaged the taxi's internal CCTV cameras.

They then ran off with cash and personal items.

South Australian Police say the taxi driver was called from a mobile phone and asked to go to a particular location.

They are investigating the mobile number as a link to the assault.

The driver was left 'shaken' but was no physically injured.

All three boys were wearing hooded jumpers.

Police are asking anyone with further information on the incident to contact BankSA Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or go to their website.
