Hundreds evacuated from Bondi Junction Westfield shopping centre
Hundreds of shoppers have been forced to evacuate one of Australia's largest shopping centres.
7 News Online understands a fire alarm at the Westfield Shopping Centre at Bondi Junction caused management and emergency services to empty the building on Tuesday evening.
NSW Fire and Rescue has been contacted for comment.

Video posted to social media shows throngs of customers filing down stairs to get out of the building.
No scenes of panic or trouble were immediately obvious.
It is understood a fire alarm sparked the evacuation but no threat to the building or those within it was detected.
