Sydney's female teen terror suspect pleads guilty

Sydney teen terror suspect Alo-Bridget Namoa has pleaded guilty to 31 counts of refusing to answer questions before the Crime Commission.

The 18-year-old Auburn woman is also facing two Commonwealth terrorism charges related to an alleged plot with her husband, terror suspect Sameh Bayda, to stab a random member of the public.

"What a joke!" she exclaimed as the crown prosecutor argued for her bail, which was controversially granted by Central local court magistrate Les Mabbutt earlier in February, to be revoked.

“She was granted bail on very strict bail conditions which her incarceration makes it impossible to comply with,” prosecutor Karpin said.

“The Crown says that the case for revocation is significantly stronger given the (terror charges)."

“The Crown maintains its initial position that bail should not have been granted.”

Ms Namoa had a hunting knife and documents detailing how to make an improvised explosive device, court documents say.

"Alo-Bridget Namoa did collect a document in Arabic text which provides instructions on how to make a detonator for an improvised explosive device connected with the preparation of a terrorist act," police allege in court documents.

It's believed the hunting knife was wrapped in a flag that has been linked to Islamic State.

Ms Namoa will be sentenced at the Downing Centre local court on May 13.
