Family prank-wars take over the internet as videos go viral
A British mother unwillingly became the star of a viral video when her teenage son recorded her quite literally stuck in a very tricky, and hilarious, situation.
The woman struggles as her gumboots sink deep into thick layers of mud covering a field, desperately tugging at her feet in an effort to free them.
She can be heard laughing and saying: “I can’t get out of the mud!”
As she finally gets her left foot free, she loses her balance and topples over, covering one side of her body in the mud.
“It’s all gone down my bum!” she yells, before proceeding to get stuck on her back.
As she gets to her feet, she finds herself stuck for a third time as her son snickers behind the camera.
This recent prank joins a long line of videos documenting heated prank-wars between family members.
Sisters vs Brothers
Alicia Hamilton fooled little brother when she told him a sachet of wasabi was really just ‘mushy peas’.
Of course, he takes the bait and the result – while slightly cruel – is hilarious.
Another sister targeted her brother over several months with the same prank and made a compilation of them all.

As she sticks the knife in the ‘cake’ it explodes, leaving the girl stunned and covered in icing.
Her mum had covered a balloon in icing and found the whole scene absolutely hilarious.
A dad successfully tricked his son with an old, pranking classic.
While the boys sleeps in the passenger seat of their car, his dad swerves suddenly and loudly screams.
This wakes up the boy, who looks terrified and also begins to scream. He calls his father a ‘jerk’ before closing his eyes again.
Boyfriends vs girlfriends
Men seem to have an obsession with pranking their girlfriends.
One man put a lot of effort in this cruel trick on his partner.
He dresses up a dummy to look like their young son and puts the mannequin onto a quad bike.
As the boy’s mother approaches, the quad bike takes off with her ‘son’ and flies up a ramp before exploding on the other side.
Obviously distressed, she soon twigs and tells her partner repeatedly, “that’s not funny!”
Another boyfriend took his opportunity to make his girlfriend look silly when he asked her what Y-E-S spells.
When she correctly replies, ‘yes’, he then asks her: “What does E-Y-E-S spell?”
She thinks… and thinks… and thinks some more… but keeps coming to the conclusion that it is pronounced ‘ee-yes’ and announces that it’s not a real word – leaving her partner in stitches.
