Wonderfully close encounters with whales
A humpback whale has swum within almost reaching distance of divers who shot a short clip of the majestic creature cutting casually through the ocean.
Where sharks will see most humans split in the other direction faster than some can blink, whales have the opposite effect seemingly.
This gentle giant doesn't seem to notice its onlookers as it appears to go on what could be the equivalent of a lazy Sunday stroll.
Whales have long captured the imagination and from the collection assembled its not hard to see why.
