Live: Charlie Hebdo shooting in Paris, at least 12 dead

Gunmen have attacked the Paris office of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, killing at least 12 people including two police officers.

The two gunmen escaped and remain at large.

French president Francois Hollande has described it as a terrorist attack and his government has raised the country's security alert to the highest level.
