Man dies after car rolls down embankment near Goulburn

A 69-year-old man has died after his station wagon rolled down an embankment near Crookwell, north-west of Goulburn in New South Wales.

Police and ambulances were called to Grabben Gullen Road following the crash, which happened about 8:45am on Saturday.

The driver died at the scene.

Officers said the car left the roadway, driving down an embankment and rolling.

A 16-year-old boy in the car escaped the crash uninjured.

Police said from early investigations it appeared the driver may have suffered a medical episode.

A post-mortem will be done to determine how the man died and a report will be prepared for the coroner.

Police have asked anyone who may have information about the crash to contact Crime Stoppers.
