P-plater critical after school bus crash
A teenage girl is fighting for life after her car collided with a school bus at what's been revealed to be a problem intersection in Sydney's north-west.
The accident happened at Hector Circuit, near the intersection of Memorial Avenue at Kellyville, around 11.50am.
The 17-year-old was trapped inside the blue Yaris hatchback for about 25 minutes before being freed.
She was treated at the scene for head injuries, before being rushed to Westmead Hospital, where she remains in a critical condition.

Road and Maritime services is planning to widen and divide the busy link between Windsor and Old Windsor roads, partly in response to the booming population as the roads cannot cope.
The plan is to widen Memorial Avenue from two to four lanes and install traffic lights at several intersections.
The problem for residents is the upgrade is only at consultation stage and it won't be complete for two years.
