Big-hearted pupils to raise money for bushfire appeal

Big-hearted pupils at Cambridge Park High School will help celebrate 30 years of the school officially opening by raising money for bushfire appeals.

The school is holding a celebratory fete on Saturday, November 30, to mark the occasion.

Originally, all money raised was to go towards improving educational facilities, but students, touched by the recent bushfires in the Blue Mountains and the affect they have had on friends, family and the school community, asked for 50 per cent of all money raised to go to the appeal.

The rest of the funds raised will go towards a covered shelter area for students and to improving educational facilities.

The fete takes place on Saturday, November 30, and there will be stalls, food, drinks, rides and entertainment to mark the school’s special occasion.
