World's tallest man finds love
Sultan Kosen, the world's tallest man, had his head in the clouds as he married a woman nearly a metre shorter than him.
The 2.5m-tall gentle giant, a farmer in Turkey, had given up hope of finding love until he met Merve Dibo.
"Now I will have my own family and private life," he said.
"How unfortunate I could not find a suitable girl of my own size. My fiancee is over 1.75 meters tall, but I believe I've found the person for me."
The couple arrived for their wedding ceremony in south-eastern Turkey, the bride wearing a striking red veil and her groom with a matching tie.
The couple's wedding cake was certainly not underwhelming, towering well over the bride.
Kosen said he struggled with his height, especially because all of his friends and family were 'normal size'.
"The kids used to tease me and I found that very difficult," he said.
"But now I am really proud of being tall."
Suffering from a rare disorder called pituitary gigantism, the eight feet and three inches Guinness World Record holder dwarfs his fiancee.
Kosen is one of only ten people who have ever topped a staggering eight feet and the first in over 10 years.
He also hold the world record for his massive 27.5cm hands and his incredible size 28 feet, which have reached to a massive 36.5 centimetres.
