Footy legend Laurie Daley to stay on with 7News until 2015

NSW State of Origin coach Laurie Daley has extended his role as 7News rugby league expert for another two years.

The move coincides with the announcement yesterday that Daley’s NSW Origin coaching contract had been extended for a further year until 2015.

In his role, the Origin legend will provide expert commentary and his tips for forthcoming league rounds during the 6pm bulletin’s sports coverage every Friday.

“Lozza” signed a deal with 7News in October last year.

From 1887 to 2000, Daley played 244 games for the Canberra Raiders and also represented Australia in 21 tests and NSW in 23 Origins, 13 as captain.
