Students pinned by car released from hospital

Four young children have been released from hospital after being struck by a four-wheel drive at a school in Adelaide’s north.

The siblings - aged between five and 11 - had just finished school when they were hit in the car park at Prescott Primary Northern at Para Vista about 3.30pm yesterday.

They were pinned against the fence by the car as it pulled into a park.

The children were released when the vehicle was reversed.

They were rushed to the Women's and Children's Hospital, but were released overnight.

The school said it is providing counselling services to the dozens of students and staff who witnessed the incident.
