Man in serious condition after crash

A man is in a serious condition in hospital following a crash between a car and truck at Port Adelaide this morning.

The crash occurred near the staat of the Port River Expressway at about 9.15am.

The 43-year-old man was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

Police have asked any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police to come forward.

Diversions are expected to remain until this afternoon while the crash scene is cleared and Major Crash Police investigate the circumstances.
