One big switch kicks off in Queensland
With electricity prices set to soar, Queenslanders are being encouraged to join a campaign that uses people power to get a better deal.
The Big Queensland Electricity Switch begins tomorrow, and those who've already signed up have saved hundreds.
One Big Switch is hoping to register at least 20,000 Queenslanders who want a better deal on their electricity.
In last year's Big Electricity Switch, 250,000 households around Australia signed up, more than 50,000 households switched and about 100,000 reported that they saved - either by taking up the offer or using it to negotiate a better deal.
