Pressure to improve Australian roads
Australian motoring groups have united to demand better roads from the winner of this year's Federal Election.
Their advertising campaign highlights the need for more investment in road projects to ease congestion and improve safety.
Andrew Mckellar from the Australian Automobile Association says our roads just aren’t coping.
“The reality is Australians are fed up with the conditions of our roads.”
The organisations are calling on their seven million members to pressure the major parties.
