Pregnant woman fatally stabs de-facto

A 28-year-old Gosford man is dead after an NRL grand final party turned violent.

It's alleged the victim and pregnant partner were drinking and arguing before she stabbed him to death in their unit in front of children.

"The kids were freaked out, cause one of them come down and actually opened the window and said are you guys alright, and one of the little ones said to her 'daddy's dead'," neighbour Greg Rose said.

Emergency crews rushed the man to Gosford Hospital at around 9:15pm last night, but he could not be saved.

The children who witnessed the murder are now in the care of relatives.

The accused woman been refused bail and will appear in court tomorrow.
