New Zealand records three new COVID cases

Three more returning Kiwis have tested positive for COVID-19 in New Zealand.

At one stage a COVID-free nation, New Zealand has seen an influx of returning citizens in recent weeks, and the return of the deadly virus.

More than a dozen people have tested positive in the past 10 days, including the latest three announced on Thursday.

Two are returnees from India, and the other from Peru.

All of the new cases are in quarantine, and New Zealand continues to have no societal restrictions on movement or gatherings.
