We’re also opening the floor to viewers, who can comment with any questions they would like us to pose to Prof Collingnon.

Last Thursday, News Editor Olivia Lambert interviewed Aldi’s Customer Experience Director Adrian Christie about how the retailer has been dealing with the many obstacles posed by the outbreak.

Mr Christie revealed the difficult decision the discount supermarket chain had to make amid the coronavirus pandemic - suspending its famous Special Buys.

“One thing we set out very early in the piece is that we can’t have lines outside our stores that are created by high-demand Special Buys,” Mr Christie told Yahoo News Australia.

“I just don’t think that would have been appropriate. It would’ve been a safety issue.”

Last month, Tolj spoke with virologist and associate professor with the University of Queensland, Ian Mackay.

At the time, Mr Mackay explained why and how Australia had flattened the infection curve, as well as whether people wearing masks and gloves are safer than others.
