Painful eye condition caused by beetle on rise in Victoria

- Authorities are warning that a debilitating condition known as Christmas eye is on the rise in Victoria. The painful cornea ulcer is caused by a tiny beetle that gets into the eye. People who've experienced Christmas eye compare the pain to childbirth.
